Storyteller
I have just finished up my 4 week course with Dave Brosha, called Storyteller. It was an incredible course and I am so excited to implement a lot of what I learned.
Being able to tell a story and share it is one of the reasons I love photography. If you follow my journey, you know I love nature and “real” stuff. Macro shots of little bee faces, our beautiful Peace Country sunrises, and the textures and colors of life around me. But I am also in love with the idea of creating a set of images that tell a story - real or fictional. I have pages and pages of ideas that have not yet been put into motion. I was stuck for so long on how to create a better system (storage, editing through files, post processing) and how to present it well enough (portfolios, etc).
I am excited that I already have this website in play even though I really had no idea what I was doing. Because now, I can really work my way through the images I’ve already shot, create some strong stories and be able to share them here in a more intentional and effective way. And going forward, especially with my 365 day project, I have much better skills and knowledge to work through it.
Stay tuned!
