Back At It
Oh I feel human again!
It’s been too long since I’ve taken a wander through the farmyard with my camera. I’ve been so busy and feeling the disconnect. It’s been making my skin crawl and my heart ache.
Today I made it a priority.
And these are a few of my quick edit results. I haven’t edited everything and I don’t have the experience or extra time to edit like professionals would… so forgive me ;) Learning and loving it!
My biggest takeaway tonight was just the magic of life around me as I walked around. There is so much activity and life amongst the grass and trees if you just stop and watch. It’s what I needed. To slow down. Look. Listen. Smell. And feel the energy of the world surrounding us. The bees were busy amongst the flies, mosquitoes, beetles, and various winged insects. The many different flowers - caraganas, lilacs, dandelions, violets, apple, saskatoon berry, etc.
Today I also signed up for a couple online photography courses. I’m excited to learn from a couple of my favorite and most inspiring photography idols.
The world is so much bigger and more magical than what we think.
