Post Two: Heart & Soul

The whole point of me wanting to do a blog, is to tell the stories that I have. My life. My photography. The things I want people to remember me by.

So if you don’t know me, this is the entry for you.

My name is Harmony. I am a farm wife. Mother. Bookkeeper. 100% Dork.

My family is pretty private, so you won’t likely hear much about them or see photos of them here. But I’m a pretty open book. I struggled to get pregnant, and suffered through years of infertility and pregnancy loss. I struggle with my weight. I lost 3 friends - one from suicide, one from a car accident, and one from health issues. I care too much what people think. I do kitchen karaoke to 80s and 90s hits. I’m a spreadsheet nerd. I love dance movies and wish I could move like them. I can crochet, knit, cross stitch, bake, garden, can, and….. take photos.

I am a farm wife but even after almost 20 years together, I still don’t know as much as I wish I did - or as much as I should.

My laugh is too loud. I love true crime podcasts and shows. I can drive a stick shift. I have zero tattoos. I hate mice. I love veggies. I suck at sports. I love board games.

In terms of photography, I take photos of what moves me. Nature is so fantastic! I don’t have a lot of experience with people, but I love to capture my family in action. I love texture and color. I have big goals, so stay tuned!
